And so it is...

A warm hello to all of you out there!

I have been incredibly absent due to a lot of changes in my life. It was also good to be away, yet I missed blogging a lot and miss creating every single day...

A few months ago I told you about my plans in an earlier post, but then I never got around updating the outcome.

Here I am now in England, and in a few days I will have lived here for four months now. I cannot believe it. So long time has passed and it feels like I arrived yesterday. I am continuously whining about the weather, but other than that I can tell you all for certain, that I feel really blessed to have met the wonderful people I am living with. We are taking part in a program, training volunteers to go to India or Africa.

I miss creating so much and I sometimes become melancholic about doing the work I did before coming here, but this is I think part of everyone's life who has not arrived here running away from their old lives, but coming from something they had previously enjoyed a lot.
Yet, despite reveries and melancholic moments I am still sure - because I feel it so certain - that this is where I have to be, doing what I am doing. If this feeling will ever change, I shall take it from there, but living in the present is so wonderful, and I am fully able to do that here and now.

I've been thinking about this a few weeks ago on a really warm and sunny Sunday (which is our free day, by the way), enjoying every moment, that if we would have everything we have ever wanted at all times in our lives we would not even be able to enjoy it and be grateful, because eventually we'd take it for granted. Like the sun. Back home, during the summer we have so many sunny and sometimes even too hot days, that we are so eager for a nice cool breeze; in England when we have a rare sparkling sunny day, I can even feel my heart smiling... similarly, sometimes it is good to let go of something in order to give way to something else, which can be equally beautiful and rewarding...

This was just the first of many similar posts. Because I had decided to record this experience little by stay tuned.

  1. It's great to hear from you and I'm happy everything is going well in England. I'm looking forward to your posts about this new experience!

  2. I'm so happy to be able to read about your life! I miss you so much! And have you decided where you're heading, after all? I mean, will you go to India or to Africa? Many many kisses and huggs from a girl who's currently living in Cluj. If you're not here, I figured I could help the city not to feel so lonely during summer. :)Anamaria Grama

  3. Hope you are well. Of course, we are ready for an update.
